Keep posting ur experiences and walk with the Lord because people need to know. I too had a "false prophet" experience too when some dude invited me to come visit his church a few years back. I make it a point to tell people to pray and when it is something extremely important to u, to pray silently to Jesus. Only God knows our innermost thoughts and pains and if we speak them out audibly, satan will attempt to come with a counterfit. If u get the chance visit www.amazingfacts.com. In everything bring it to the Lord and test it according to His Word. If it doesn't match up, it aint of Him. May the Lord continue to add His rich blessings to u and keep u to that Day. How many people has he gotten to open up to him that have not seen through it? I would guess that as the stories got more and more unbelievable he was trying to somehow manipulate or control you. I have been leary about some of the teachings I have recently watched on TV. In fact, I think I am going to keep the TV off those Gospel channels for a while. Not that I don't love to hear God's word, I am just uncomfortable with the way some of them seem insincere. Loud and excited doesn't mean closer to Truth in my eyes. I have only one person who I am close to who is saved in my life. That is my Aunt and she lives in Washington State (I am in Wisconsin). We email back and forth and pass encouraging stories and messages, but other than that, I am alone with God. I pray everyday that he will change the hearts of my family (parents and sisters as well as husband and daughters) and that they will seek him out. Because I wish to share and discuss my experiences and my love for God and Jesus, I may be prone to reaching out to the wrong person or thing. I am glad to have this warning from you and will definitely be selective with whom I choose to share this awesome Love. In the meantime, I will quietly but persistently keep sharing the Word.
